Rotary shear blades, also known as disc blades, slitter blades, or strip-cutting blades, are essential tools in the metal sheet slitting industry. These blades precisely cut metal sheets through the vertical engagement of two sets of blades.
Components:
Blades: Our blades are made from high-quality high-speed cutting tool steels such as SKD11, SLD, SKH51, H12, H13, and DC53. These blades are meticulously manufactured, making them ideal for high-speed slitting of various cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel plates, pickled plates, silicon steel plates, stainless steel, and steel strips. We demand extreme precision, ensuring the parallelism of the blades is within 0.003mm. Each blade undergoes forging from premium materials, precise machining, heat treatment, and CNC grinding, resulting in outstanding performance during use.
Spacers: Blade spacers are usually made from materials like S45C, S50C, and 65Mn, with S45C being the most common. The thickness of these spacers ranges from 0.9mm to 200mm, with a hardness of 45 to 49 HRC. Using spacers ensures the proper gap between the slitting blades, allowing the steel sheet to be cut to the desired width.
Separator Discs: Separator discs are typically made from materials such as SKP-61 (4Cr5MoSiV1), 42CrMo, and Cr12, with SKD-61 being the most popular due to its balanced high-temperature strength and toughness. These discs are crucial for managing the slitted steel sheets, ensuring the strips remain separated and do not collide. Our separator discs undergo heat treatment, leveling, fine grinding, polishing, and chrome plating (0.05m/mt), ensuring a smooth and durable surface for clean and organized slitting.
